Choosing The Location Of Your New Home In Louisville

Your home is the center of your life and your lifestyle. It is vital that your home be conveniently located to the places that are important to you and that you frequent the most. Do you work in downtown Louisville? Or do you work in suburbs, in the East End, the South End, the West End? What schools or colleges do you or your children go to?

What parks do you like to visit? Tom Sawyer Park, Cherokee Park, Seneca Park, Portland Park, Chickasaw Park or any of the other 120 parks in Louisville?
What are your hobbies? Jogging, tennis, chess, poker? All these could influence where you want to live.
Make sure to select a Realtor who will ask you about your needs and wish list. There are thousands of homes, your Realtor’s job is to match the home, and the location of your home, to your lifestyle.
Your Realtor should be asking you; Where do you work? What highways do you want to be close to? Why? If two people are buying the home together, which spouse needs the shorter commute time work or schools?
Are there any recreational travel time considerations? For example taking kids to school, or going back and forth to community centers or sports venues. Are there any frequent trips to shopping or civic activities?
I had a buyer tell me once she had to live in one side of town to make sure she does not run into her mother-in-law at the grocery store. Of course you may desire your home to be secluded and far from anything.
As a Realtor I believe that people’s needs and wishes come first. It is my pleasure and my commitment to you to match a home that is best for you. I want my buyer clients to enjoy their new home every day and know that out of all the homes on the market you selected the one that will be your home base for creating new memories.
Please call me to help find you the home of your dreams.
